Lucy Ree Hawkins, 77, of Culpeper died Saturday, Sept. 14 at Culpeper Regional Hospital.
She was born Sept. 6, 1925 in Rappahannock County to the late James Ashby Jenkins and Cora Lee Marsh Jenkins.
Mrs. Hawkins is survived by two daughters, Margaret Ann Cole and her husband, William and Lucille Hoffman and her husband, George and one son, Preston Hawkins, all of Culpeper.
She is also survived by one step-daughter, Mary Helen Oxendine of Ocala, Fla.; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Additional survivors include a sister, Eunice Meade of Culpeper; a brother, Jessie Jenkins and his wife, Edith of . Brandy Station and a special friend and caregiver, James Dodson of Culpeper.
In addition to her parents, she was also predeceased by her husband, Maury Charles Hawkins and three brothers, Clinton Jenkins, Ashby Jenkins and Linwood Jenkins.
Funeral services were conducted on Tuesday, Sept. 17 at .Found and Sons Funeral Chapel in Culpeper.
