U-12 Boys
The Rapp U-12 , sponsored by Blue Water Builders of Amissville, traveled to “parachute alley,” a.k.a. Booster Field in Orange and faced a difficult team. Rapp gained the lead with a pair of goals from Dean Hogan. The 2 point lead dissolved to a 2 - 2 tie by the second half.
A solid performance from goal tender Evan Espinola frustrated Orange and Austin Burdick added 2 second half goals to finalize the score: Rapp 4 - Orange 2. Espinola received numerous congrats from fans, coaches and even an off duty referee. Solid defense kept Orange at bay and the coaches were proud of the whole squad for their team play and gutsy play!
U-14
What a way to start the season. Everyone came to play today and play they did. At the half, the U14 Rapp’ers were well in control 3-1. Complete ball control defined the first half, unselfish ball movement and intense hustle to 50-50 balls left Rapp in charge.
Liam Wallace was involved in all three scores. First he took a one touch from Owen Monroe and drilled it home, then he returned the favor allowing Owen to finish a nice feed
