The football game at the high school last Wednesday afternoon was awesome! If you missed it you better make plans to attend the next one Sept. 25. Our team did a fantastic job, and thanks to all of those that helped get the field ready; Ralph Gheen, David Thornhill, Benji Atkins, Doug Butler, Lee Hitt, Coach Kemper Pullin, Mr. Mello, Mr. Tupper and Mr. Armstrong. It was a lot of hard work and the field looked great.
The Rappahannock Athletic Association elected new officers at their September board meeting. There were approximately 45 members present and the officers are as follows: President, Kevin Gentry, Vice President/Baseball, Randy Johnson, Vice President/Softball, Hector Gonzalez, Secretary, Amy Hitt, Treasurer, Tbm Guthrie.
