celebrates with
community picnic
The Town of Woodville will hold its 11th annual community picnic on Saturday, Sept. 28 beginning at 3 p.m. “We will roast a large hog and will be ready to sen/e at 3:30. Please bring your favorite side dish and drink to share,” said an organizer.
Entertainers should come prepared with songs, poetry, instruments, and tall tales and make good use of the open microphone. Come visit with the community, pitch horseshoes, play volleyball and relax and enjoy the outstanding view.
The picnic will be held at the usual Blue Ridge overlook location in Woodville. From downtown, turn up Red Oak Mountain Road (618) and follow the signs. This is a free event and everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend.
