The Theatre at Washington has been putting on a new face all summer long. First came a splashy coat of lavender-blue on the trim around the windows and display areas followed directly by sun-seeking lavender petunias and bright blue morning glories (and in the evening, huge white moon flowers) spilling out of window boxes and growing up, over and through an antique harrow on the side of the building.
Wendy Weinberg, owner of The Theatre at Washington has been busy this summer, inside and out.
The Theatre’s sign which has served well for 12 years is getting a face lift and will be in place by the opening of the Theatre’s fall season on Saturday, Sept. 21.
The balcony is likely to be the preferred spot for viewing the concerts, movies and theatrical performances. Everything has been refurbished up there.
