Lovely orange-lined black curtains will cover the window (now painted black). Even the floor upstairs has a fresh coat of paint.
The lobby walls and moldings have been “touched up” and the lobby floor gleams under five coats of wax.
The entry doors to The Theatre have a more subtle shade of red — more perfectly complimenting the lavender blue of the trim on the windows.
Even the pesky door “hold-open devices” have been replaced — the doors will now stay open when they’re supposed to stay open.
All in all Mrs. Weinberg is quite satisfied and trusts that the improvements will be enjoyed by audiences long after this season’s opening.
