Interim schools Superintendent Helen Williams reported that negotiations are still ongoing with the School Board's number one choice for permanent Superintendent. She also noted that, at the School Board meeting of Dec. 10, the Board will receive input from school staff and the community on the school budget for the next fiscal year.
Mrs. Williams also encouraged the Board of Supervisors to "send a note to the Commonwealth'' to protect K-12 funding for the current and future years. She presented the Board with a draft resolution to that effect that was
