Dozens of mead from America and around the world were showcased for an eager public. Several categories for traditional and flavored mead egtmetheglin with/spice, melomel with/ fruit) were recognized, judged and sampled.
Virginia's only Meadery (The Smokehouse) made Rappahannock County proud by winning third place in the metheglin category for their Honeysuckle Metheglin.
