Neil Rizos’ show, at Blueridge Artisans in Sperryville, is a retrospective of the artist’s decade in Virginia. In reviewing this show, I feel it only fair to disclose that I am a long-time collector of Rizos’ work, a good friend of Neil’s, as well as the proprietor of the gallery hosting the show. What follows here is, however, a completely objective analysis.
