Santa Claus will make his annual visit to the Old Sperryville Bookshop on Saturday, Dec. 7, to read Christmas stories to kids and hear their wishes for Christmas.
The fun begins at 10:30 a.m., and parents should be sure to be on time, because Santa has other stops scheduled for that day, and will be able to stay only for an hour or so, according to a usually reliable helper elf.
Bookshop owners Jim and Joan Gannon will have treats for the kids, and the bookshop model train will be steamed up and ready to go.
