Proposed Amendments To The

Zoning Chapter

On Monday, January 6, 2003, at 7:00 p.m., the Rappahannock County Board of Supervisors shall hold a Public Hearing at the Courthouse in Washington, VA to consider amendments to the Zoning Chapter of the Rappahannock County Code.

These amendments relate to approved zoning districts, definitions, additional standards and minimum requirements for Wineries, Breweries, Distilleries, for.the processing of agricultural products, for wayside stands, festivals and bus tours.

The complete text of the proposed amendments is available for public inspection from 8:30-4:30 MondayFriday at the County Administration Office, 290 Gay Street, Washington, Virginia. The amendments derive from resolutions adopted by the Board of Supervisors on November 4, and by the Planning Commission on November 20, 2002.

In addition, the Rappahannock County Planning Commission shall hold a Public Hearing on the proposed amendments on Wednesday, December 18, 2002 at 7:30 p.m. at the Courthouse in Washington, Virginia.
