To celebrate and revisit a wonderful French tradition, R.H. Ballard Art, Rug & Home is now exhibiting for sale, through the Christmas season, a selection of rare and unique lithographs and etchings from artists from the turn of the century through the 1970’s. Thus the Gallery has created a mini-historical review of art in Paris over the last century aptly titled, “A Paris Salon.”

Represented in this holiday exhibit will be many newly acquired art works, signed and numbered original lithographs, etchings, drawings by Manet, Renoir, Cezanne, Toulouse-Lautrec, Cassatt, Luce, Bonnard, Villon, Picasso, Matisse, Braque, Rouault and Chagall.

To make it even more special, during the Town’s celebration of “Christmas in Little Washington,” on Dec. 6, 7, and 8, the Ballards will have extended hours of 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. They will also offer delicious traditional French cookies created by a French Chef just for this weekend event, to delight the palette while strolling through the exhibit.
