The Rappahannock County Sheriffs Office will be sponsoring its seventh annual "Shop with a Deputy” program this Christmas season for some of the county's most needy citizens on Dec. 14.
The Rappahannock County Sheriffs Office and other representatives will select children whose families have little or no funds for the holidays. The children will be taken to K-Mart in Front Royal, where they can purchase $100 worth of merchandise for themselves or their families. Following shopping, children will be treated to breakfast with Santa and will return to the Sheriffs Office for their wrapped presents and food basket.
