As the conversation unfolded, he revealed that he was a member of the Dutch resistance in World War II. He said that when the Nazis launched their V-l rockets to terrorize English cities, the rockets would soar over the Netherlands. He said one day, a rocket prematurely dropped from the sky and came crashing down on a nearby orphanage, destroying it. The home was empty by the grace of God so there were no casualties.
