Jackson District Supervisor Ron Frazier led the charge of easing some of those conditions by commenting that, "when you get to zoning in Rappahannock, no good deed goes unpunished." Hampton District Supervisor Bryant Lee, Wakefield District Supervisor Roger Welch, Stonewall-Hawthome District Supervisor Bob Anderson, and Chairman Pete Estes all agreed that the Paynes' proposal was of benefit to the community, and approved the special exception, removing the conditions of the three-year review and the prohibition against signage at the ball field (though signs must be removed in the off-season).
