The Northern Piedmont Beekeepers Association will hold its February meeting at 7:30 p.m., Thursday, February 16 at the Culpeper Cooperative Extension Service building at the corner of Davis Street and South West Street, Culpeper. The Rappahannock Association for the Arts and the community (RAAC) brings this winning film to The Theatre on Gay Street in Washington, Friday, February 17 at 8 p.m. Robert Redford, Morgan Freeman and Jennifer Lopez star in a story about bad blood between1 a single mother and her estranged father-in -law. . All are invited to join in creating rhythm and music on Saturday, February 18th from 5-7 p.m. at Hearthstone School. It’s fun, easy, and different every time. All ages welcome. February 19: Tea and Soul”
Ki Theatre is sponsoring a slide show/lecture on art and photography by freelance photojournalist Richard Lykes on Sunday afternoon, February 19. The event is part of an annual series of informal gatherings during the winter months in private homes with shared food and presentations by creative artists, authors, photographers, filmmakers, and others in our community. Although open to all on a “first-come” basis, these events are held in private homes and space is limited. Tickets are $15 each and reservations are available by calling Ki Theatre at (540) 987-3164. February 20: Equine Rescue League for Rappahannock County meeting
Liz Reardon and Trish Bartholomew are in the process of starting an Equine Rescue League in Rappahannock County. Anyone interested in helping in this venture or in becoming involved in the League is urged to contact either Liz or Trish for more information.
