PATSY COFFMAN Back in the early 1970s, Patsy Coffman received a nursing scholarship from the Fauquier Hospital Auxiliary, and she has remained a faithful Fauquier Hospital employee ever since Patsv is a registered nurse, now working in the Case Management Department, where she verifies patient eligibility for Medicare Medicaid and insurance companies. Patsy says she chose to stay with Fauquier Hospital over the years because of the flexibility. When her children were small, she warned to work evenings to avoid hiring baby sitters, and the hospital agreed to let her to work a part-time shift in the evenings, 'Fauquier Hospital has always worked with me to meet all of my needs," Patsy says, "and 1 really appreciate that." Another reason Patsy stays with Fauquier Flospital is the small community feel. Not onlydoes her motltcr work at the hospital, but she just found out a distant cousin works there as well That's the neat thing about small communities,' Patsy says.
