In the senior division, the overall winner was 10th grader Laura Keller for “Split Decision: Regeneration in Planaria.” She received a ribbon, a Science Medal, and a $100 savings bond. The Firstplace Runner-up was 9th grader, A.J. Collins for “A Bare Bones Problem: the Effect of Liquids on Bone Decay,” who received a $50 savings bond, a ribbon and a medal. The Second Place Runnerup/Honorable Mention went to 10th grader Osha Kondori for her project, “The Root of the Matter: The Effect of Various Substances on Plant Growth.”
