Heather Self exhibits new
prints at Packing Shed Gallery Heather Selfs new exhibition of prints “When You Weren’t Looking”, at the Packing Shed Gallery, is a dynamic series of printed works. This will be her second exhibition at the Packing Shed Gallery since 2001. Self, a former resident of Rappahannock County, currently resides in Harper’s Ferry and is about to earn her B.F.A. in Printmaking at Shepherd University. Bach individual print has many layers of text and photographic imagery. The works are both engaging and mysterious, quietly prilling the viewer inwards. “When You Weren’t Looking” is on view from March 28-May 1, with an opening reception on Sunday, April 2, from 2-6 pm. The Packing Shed Gallery is located on the corner of Porter and Gay Streets in Washington, Virginia. Gallery hours are Thursdays through Mondays from 12:307:00.
