Shawl Ministry
Do you like to knit or crochet? Would you like to learn? Come and be a part of the Prayer Shawl Ministry, a group which lovingly creates shawls for those in their community that may be grieving, dealing with illness, or suffering from a loss, and also for those experiencing a joy such as a wedding or new baby. Spring Revival
Mount Calvary Baptist Church in Haywood continues their spring revival on Thursday, March 23 with
Reverend Anna Allsberry from Bethel Baptist Church, Unionville, and the Hopewell Baptist Church, Sperryville and Friday, March 24 with Reverend Clifford Waller, Rock Hall Baptist Church, Wolftown. at 7:30 p.m. each night.
Breakfast at the Washington Baptist Church
The Washington Baptist Church (WBC) will be having a breakfast on Saturday, March 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. This will be to raise funds for the WBC Building Renovation Fund. The breakfast will include bacon, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, and dollar pancakes with whip cream and strawberries. During the breakfast there will be an occasion to purchase opportunities for a drawing of one of two baskets. A “Service & Gift Basket” and a “Sweet Delight Basket”, a basket filled with homemade decorated Easter Cookies. The Service & Gift Basket includes, but not inclusive , service certificates such as: Alteration of one item (skirt/pants), one dozen homemade cinnamon rolls, one dozen homemade dinner rolls, one homemade walnut
