Saturday afternoon, around 50 family members and a host of friends, including a number from our local area, attended a party at Culpeper Life Center to honor Mr. Qwen Cubbage, who celebrated his 88th birthday on Tuesday.
Last week our community lost two of her native citizens in the passing of Dallas Simpson at 75, who was laid to rest in Culpeper National Cemetery, and Roy Johnson, 90, who was laid to rest in Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. Sympathy is extended to both families.
Condolences go out to the family of Mr. Arthur Kelly who passed away at his home here in Boston last week.
