Led by Herald Douglas Weaver, who doubles as Wakefield’s pf-ep school history teacher, the celebration began with the “Donning of the Costumes,” followed shortly thereafter by the “Grand Entry and Procession of the Duke (Andrew Smith of Little Washington), . the Dutchess (Katie Huang of Amissville), and the Court (the rest of the eighth grade).
