The council has built up 15 years of momentum to arrive at this point, and with the end in sight, it is unlikely that they will slow down to commission and fund a study whose results they see as a foregone conclusion, regardless of whether it would help settle the minds of Washington’s neighbors.
The DEQ public hearing on Washington’s draft permit will be at 6:30 p.m. on March 28 in the RCHS auditorium.
