Sharing this evening will be our good friends, Item Lehman and John Oravec from Epicurious Cow — the E-Cow (as it is known) is the finest specialty food and wine market in the area. The quality of the wines are simply spectacular and as usual the wines will be available for purchase at the end of the evening. This time they will be available though the folks at E-Cow who will be on hand to pour and talk about the wines and their shop. The price of the dinner is $70 per person, which includes tax and gratuity. This dinner will fill up quickly so make your guaranteed reservation today. Breakfast at the Washington Baptist Church
The Washington Baptist Church (WBC) will be having a breakfast on Saturday, March 25, from 7:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. This will be to raise funds for the WBC Building Renovation Fund. The breakfast will include bacon, eggs, sausage, gravy, biscuits, and dollar pancakes with whip cream and strawberries. During the breakfast there will be an occasion to purchase opportunities for a drawing of one of two baskets. A “Service & Gift Basket” and a “Sweet Delight Basket”, a basket filled with homemade decorated Easter Cookies. The Service & Gift Basket includes, but not inclusive, service certificates such as: Alteration of one item (skirt/pants), one dozen homemade cinnamon rolls, one dozen homemade dinner rolls, one homemade walnut cake, a Beauty box gift certificate of $30 and a one hour walk with the Llamas, one fresh flower arrangement. All proceeds from the baskets will go to the American Cancer Society and Rappahannock Relay for Life. Opportunities can be purchased at the door during breakfast or advanced purchases by contacting the WBC at 675-3336. Basket drawings will be held at 11 a.m. after the breakfast. Come and join them for the good food and fellowship. Breakfast is $7.
