“potato day” for they thought of St. Patrick, the “Irishman” was the day to plant those “Irish potatoes, and that was back when there were very few other varieties, but we have other important happenings on St. Patrick’s Day as we extend birthday wishes to, Nick Norman, Linda Hitt, Jackie Cubbage, Matthew Bragg and Fred Soutter and may our good Lord bless each of you with many more St. Patrick Day celebrations.
Of interest to many is that Mrs. Mary Nicholson has re-opened her shop in Woodville for the summer season and looks forward to seeing all her old customers and making new ones.
Special services were held Saturday afternoon at Nazareth Baptist Church, here on 707 in celebration of Black History month, with the Righteous Singers of Warrenton as guests and this event was sponsored by the Willing Workers Ministry.
