After her husband passed away in 1965, she then went to work for the Inn at Little Washington. In the spring of 1967, she was hired as the manager and cook at the Child Care and I naming Center in Washington.

While at CCLC, she was contacted; interviewed and hired by Dr. Bob Chappell for the position of Cafeteria Manager at Rappahannock High School • a job she has held for the past 20 until her retirement an June 15 of this year

Over her 20 years at the school, Mane enjoyed serving and seeing the students and teachers each day. She considered it a privilege when she was able to meet many of the parents as well - a real joy for her. She looked forward to going to work each day and
