Leap Start
Preschool news
Remember when I wrote about the new preschool program that is opening this fall in Sperryville? Crystal Smith, our former RCES kindergarten teacher, sends news that they have been busily working on renovating the portion of the house that will be used for Leap Start. They are all very excited and looking forward to opening on August 28. Currently They will be open on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Parents have the option of choosing Full or Half days. There will an icecream party the week before they open for all the children and parents to get acquainted and visit the new preschool facility.
There are still two vacancies for children ages 3-5 years. An advertisement appeared in a recent edition of the Rappahannock News, which briefly outlined the program. Interested parents can call Crystal at 9879660 or e-mail her at ecsmith03@ verizon.net for more information and a registration form.
