The 1993 Ford pickup truck used in the crime is owned by a woman from Jeffersonton.
Bubby Settle, who has owned the auto sales and service business, said the truck was at the garage to be serviced.
The truck was parked outside, he said, and no one broke into Settle’s building or stole the keys. Sherertz said it is not clear how the truck was stolen.
Settle said he and the truck's owner have not decided whose insurance will be responsible for paying for the vehicle. This is the first time a vehicle has been stolen from his busmess, he said.
