It looked like rain. lt felt like snow. But as the it neared the fateful hour of 1 p.m. on Sunday, the weather gods prevailed and the parade came off as planned.
For the third year in a row, the first Sunday of December has been earmarked for the Christmas in Little Washington event sponsored by the Washington Hospitality and Visitors Association and most notably organized by the Christmas Committee consisting of Denise Chandler, Kevin Adams, Diane MacPherson and Anita Sherman.
. With several hundred people lining Main and Gay Streets in the Tbwn ofWashington, more than two dozen entries were in tins year’s flotilla of participants which started with the Rappahannock Boy Scouts aetheOibrGuardsfeflewed by the rousing Piedmont Caledonia Pipes and Drum.
