It was a great day all around for everyone. Avon Hall was abuzz with activity as the parade coordinator Denise Chandler orchestrated the lineup #ith Don Sherman and Jim Blubaugh getting everyone in place for the big event to start. The day was perfect in every way; the ram held off.
The Washington Hospitality and Visitors Association sponsored their third Christmas parade in Little Washington. They really put their time and effort in this year’s parade to make it a success.

We’re sorry to hear that Santa’s Chief elf, Claudia Mitchell, was under the weather and could not make the parade this year. The community sends wishes hoping she will be feeling better soon.
The staff of the Rappahannock News would like to thank John Clark for the generous use of his hay trailer again this year and special thanks to Bryant Lee for using his Kubota tractor to tow our float smoothly without dumping anyone off the back!
