Monthly Meeting
Please join all RappFLOWers on December 20, 2007 from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. for some lively and informative holiday cheer at RappFLOWs regular monthly meeting at the Sperryville Schoolhouse on Rt. 211 in Sperryville. We will highlight the progress of RappFLOW and its partners in watershed protection in 2007 and explore our goals for 2008. Of course, holiday refreshments will be available! Please come to learn about and share our enthusiasm for and commitment to the gifts of Rappahannock County’s streams, rivers, and watersheds. Volunteers are needed and welcome, so please come!
Dec. 21: Annual Lantern Walk
On Friday, December 21, Hearthstone School will have its annual Lantern Walk, led by Nursery/Kindergarten teacher Kitty Keyser. The walk is in celebration of the Winter Solstice. On the longest night of the year, the group will carry lighted lanterns into the darkness, as a reminder that even on the longest, darkest night we carry our Love-Light within us. The group will sing songs about Light and visit people in Little Washington. Anyone who would like to come is welcome. The group will meet in Little Washington at the fountain near the Episcopal church at 5 P.M. Please dress appropriately for the weather.
