McFarland, three sons, James Lewis McFarland, Jr. of Prince William, VA., Thomas William McFarland of Rappahannock, and Lynn Edward McFarland of Rappahannock; three sisters, Betty Grigsby of Washington, VA, Peggy Tharpe of Castleton, and Joan Broyles of Culpeper, and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Mr. McFarland was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Gene McFarland.
A funeral service was held on Friday, November 30, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Burke officiating.
Interment was followed in Washington Masonic Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Ray Sisk, Buddy Sisk, Johnny Sisk, Allen Jenkins, Ronnie Jenkins, and Randy Smoot.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Found and Sons Funeral Chapel.
