The PLA was organized in June to represent landowners whose property is crossed by, adjacent to and in the viewshed of the proposed 500 kV transmission line proposed by Dominion Power. The expanded line would follow the existing line than runs from Front Royal in Warren County, through Fauquier, Rappahannock, Culpeper and Prince William counties.

The Galloping Grape wine and tack shop in Warrenton will host a free wine tasting and jewelry show this Thursday, Dec. 6 from 5-7 p.m. A rep from Silpada, makers of sterling silver jewelry, will be on hand. The shop is two blocks from the Warrenton Horse Show
