had their work on display. The pre-school through seventhgrade classes at the school each produced a collaborative work of art.

All of the students’ pieces sold, art teacher Suzanne Zylonis said. She said that the amount raised had not yet been calculated, but in past years the students’ paintings have fetched over $1,000 a piece.

And the grown-ups’ art sold well, too.

“As far as the art work, we think we raised just as much as last year, probably a little bit more,” said Kathie Russo, director of development at Wakefield.
