Photo courtesy HCHS bands The Rappahannock County High School Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Concert Band were selected to perform in Disney World in Orlando, Fla., last week. The Marching Band was featured in a parade through Magic Kingdom, the Jazz Band performed among other prestigious groups from across the country and the Concert Band participated in an instrumental workshop with Disney music executives. The groups, led by Band Director David DeBoer and Assistant Band Director Ben Beasley, were awarded a trophy for participation along with other Disney collectibles. The Rappahannock County High School bands received the distinguished title of ‘Honorary Performance Cast Members of Disney World." -i
