gy, size of farm, the model of the 40- year lease, and even the thoughtfulness of the name, drew James and Holly to this successful family farm in Sperryville.
With the sun shining brightly on a perfect spring morning and Rachel and Eric’s sons watched over by la nonna and playing among the plants, we hope that James and Holly feel supported in their hopes for the future. It would be terrific to keep them in Rappahannock...is there a farmer out there who wants to offer them a 40- year lease to keep them here?
If you have not been to this annual event, signed up for the Waterpenny CSA or visited the self-serve farm barn, do stop in. Plants are still available and vegetables and flowers in season will be there for you.
Happy Birthday,
