It would be a safe bet he had no idea this sideline business would be the spark for a now successful business owned by his daughter, \ April, and his wife, Betty.
Norman and Betty wanted what was best for all of their daughters. They hoped the girls would all get a college education to give them a better start at the American dream of a successful career. With that in mind, they packed April off to college once she graduated from high school.
But, as April will quickly tell, college simply is not for everyone. “I went to college, and I finished my first year. But I realized it just wasn’t for me, it just wasn't what l wanted."
