Faye interjects, "There is no boss at PHA’s Wedding Cakes. It is a partnership.” Although Faye insists neither is in charge of the other, Pam states with pride, “My mother is a great Mom." She adds with a wink, “Mama always gets her way." Great mothers deserve great treats. On Faye and Paul's 40th wedding anniversary, the family decided to do a special cake for the occasion. This presented a real dilemma. They needed a cake, but they knew they could not get a cake from anyone else. How would it took to order a cake from someone else? So, the family hatched a simple plan to get a terrific cake and keep it in the family.
Faye recounts, "I didn’t know I was making my own wedding anniversary cake. Our daughter-in-law, Melissa, said a woman in Pulaski wanted an anniversary cake and it was their fortieth anniversary. So, she told me it had to be red and white because those are the colors of the 40th anniversary.
