Daughter Pam agrees. “Family has always been very important to us,” she said. Family is important in each household. Mother Faye and Father Paul still leave in Max Meadows, Virginia, within a rock’s throw of Faye’s birthplace. Daughter Pam and husband, Jeff, live a few miles away with their children. “I remember our house was the place for all our cousins and classmates to be when we were growing up. Dad fed all those kids and never complained. I bet he was ^only making $45 a week,” Pam says with a reminiscent smile.

In today’s economy, $45 dollars a week doesn’t seem like much, but Paul's wealth has not been measured in dollars and stock shares. Paul’s wealth is invested in family.

In fact, Paul and Faye will celebrate their 49th wedding anniversary in August. They married In 1960.
