YACC work projects will involve reclamation of stripmined lands, improving recreation facilities, restoration of historical sites, and plant and wildlife management. The workers will have a 5-day workweek, be paid the Federal minimum wage, and may be enrolled in the program for up to 12 months.
Applications for the program are now being accepted with hiring to begin later this month. The TVAoperated camps will be among the first to be opened throughout the United States.

Richard and Linda Brady of Arlington are the parents of a son, Jason Richard, bom October 19, 1977 in Fairfax Hospital. Mr. and Mrs. Julian Welch and Mrs. Moffett Brady, all of Flint Hill, are grandparents of the infant. This is Mrs. Brady’s 24th grandchild.
