Mrs. Mildred Wehmas of Richmond spent last week with her sister, Mrs. Edith Green.

Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ashby Thornhill, Mary Jane and Linda were Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Carpenter and Holly of Brightwood. Afternoon callers were Mr. and Mrs. Pete Boyd of Madison.

Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Deal of Arlington spent the weekend with Clifton Naide.

Mrs. Hazel Barfield and Debbie were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Barfield and John in Culpeper. Thursday, the two Mrs. Barfields visited Mr. and Mrs. Paul Davis at Lignum who were celebrating their 58th wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Brenda Smith, Allen and Stephanie of Inlet were Saturday evening callers of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Smith. Their Sunday visitors were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Whetzel and family of Leon. The Smiths recently visited Mrs. Smith’s mother, Mrs. Clarence Miller in Luray.

Mrs. Bemie Jenkins and Mrs. John Gaines recently called on Mrs. Bobby North and Mrs. Margaret McCoy in Front Royal.

Mrs. Clarence W. Jenkins, Misses Nina and Gladys Jenkins were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Tommy Meredith in Culpeper.

Mr. and Mrs. John Gaines, Tommy and Stewart were weekend guests of Mrs. Mary Betler in Helvetia, W. Va.

LCPL Paul S. Fincham of Camp LeJeune, N. C. spent the weekend with Mr. and Mrs. John Lamb and sons, Steve and Wayne.

James R. Peyton and Jeffrey were recent guests of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Walker in Washington, D. C.

Charles Kennedy of Manassas spent the weekend with this parents, Mr. and Mrs. Waverly Kennedy. Sunday guests were Mr. and Mrs. James Minnis and Chris of Culpeper.

Edmond Burke returned home Wednesday following surgery in Martha Jefferson Hospital in Charlottesville.
