Clearwater, Fla., recently spent a week with Mr. and Mrs. Cary Thornhill. The Thornhill’s houseguests from Thursday until Saturday of last week were Mr. and Mrs. John Dallas Johnson of Fayetteville, N. C.

Miss Carol Fincham of Orange spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Fincham and family. On Saturday, they were the guests of Mr. and Mrs. Billy Meredith of Reva Park and on Sunday, they visited Mrs. Blanch Fincham in Woodville.

Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Cave and Tonya and Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and Peggy were Sunday luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Cave and family in Stanley.

Mr. and Mrs. Jack Johnston were recent guests of her aunt, Mrs. Henry Brown in Woodville.

Miss Linda Hawkins of Culpeper spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hawkins and Sharon.

Mrs. George Butler, Mrs. Cary Thornhill, Mrs. Jesse Hawkins, and Mrs. Charles Thornhill attended the Shiloh Association at Beth Carr Church in Madison Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Granville Smith were Sunday evening guests of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jenkins.

Mr. and Mrs. Ray Frazier, Michele and Michael were Friday supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Atkins in Sperryville.

Doyle Marshall of Culpeper was a Sunday guest of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Lillard.

BUI Duncan of VPI&SU spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan.

State Pageant

There will be a State Pageant given at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Sperryville on Saturday, Nov. 5, at 8 p.m. Everyone is invited. Rev. U.S. Brokenburr, pastor.
