The Rapidan Chapter of Trout Unlimited will hold its next meeting on Monday, November 14, at 8 p.m. in the old Jefferson Savings and, Loan Association building in the Northern Virginia Shopping Center, Warrenton.
The Rapidan, Virginia’s 8th chapter of Trout Unlimited, was formally organized on October 10 when Henry N. “Hank” Woolman of The Plains, was elected president. Dr. Arch Wagner of Warrenton was elected vice-president.
The chapter is named for the headwaters of the Rapidan River where native brook trout reside in the Shanandoah National Park sections of the stream.
The chapter’s territory extends from the Rapidan in Madison county to Frederick county including Loudoun, Rappahannock, Fauquier, Culpeper, Garke, Stafford, Prince William and Spotsylvania counties.
