IV* cups all purpose flour 4 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. salt 3 tsp. pumpkin pie spices 1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup raisins Directions: Soften the shortening. Gradually beat in sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy. Break eggs in a separate bowl. Beat until egg whites and yolks are well mixed. Add eggs and pumpkin to shortening and sugar mixture. Mix well. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and spice together. Stir these dry ingredients into the pumpkin mixture. Mix until well blended. Add raisins and nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet.
