STANLEY G. PRICE, 58, of Alexandria and also a write-in candidate represents the American Party. He is a retired Navy lieutenant commander and an insurance man. He opposes the state bond proposals and the metric system.

A. JOSEPH CANADA JR„ Republican, 39, is a state senator from Virginia Beach who studied at Hampden-Sydney College. He has a law degree from the University of Richmond. Orphaned while young, he worked through college and was a staffer of the US Department of Health, Education and Welfare.
A former assistant Commonwealth’s Attorney, he has served in the state senate for six years. He’s received the Distinguished Legislators of America, Who’s Who In American Politics, and One of the Ten Outstanding Young Men of Virginia awards. CHARLES S. ROBB, Democrat, 38, of Fairfax County was graduated from Mount Vernon High School.
