Mrs. Gilbert Lawrence, Kay and Dean, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Priest, Robert and Lisa, joined Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Qements of Manassas and Mrs. Carroll Frazier and family of Warrenton at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Emory Shifflett in Alexandria Sunday to celebrate Mrs. Shifflett’s birthday.
Mrs. David Streagle, accompanied by Miss Louise Anderson of Culpeper, spent Friday night and Saturday in Lynchburg where Mrs. Streagle attended a Clerk’s conference. Miss Anderson was the guest of her sister, Mrs. John Irvine and of Dr. and Mrs. Jack Torbert.
Mr. and Mrs. John Hitt were recent visitors of Mrs. Hitt’s brother, Wallace Reid, in Fairfax hospital where he underwent heart surgery.
Recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hitt were Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Higgins of Falls Church.
Weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. S. H. Martin were , Mr. and Mrs. Paul Rhoades and son of Annandale and Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Stover of Warrenton.
Mr. and Mrs. R. A. Baines spent Friday night in Roanoke and attended the State Troopers Association banquet and dance. Enroute home they visited Miss Nancy Buntin in Warm Springs and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Wenner in Staunton and Mrs. Harry Fletcher Smith in Covington.
Mr. and Mrs. W. L. Payne and Mrs. David Streagle attended the Washington International Horse Show Sunday night.
