uterine cancer at a stage when it can be most easily cured.

The Pap test is a simple, painless examination, involving only the taking of a sample of vaginal fluid which is later examined under a microscope. The test can detect not only early cancers, but precancerous conditions.

When cell samples are studied by qualified laboratory technologists, the results are 95 per cent accurate in cervical cancer detection and 60 per cent accurate in detection of cancer of thd body of the uterus. Cell examination has made it possible to detect uterine cancer sufficiently early so as to make treatment almost 100 per cent succesful.
