Recent houseguests of Mrs. Prances T abler were Mrs. Sarah Tabler and daughter, Mrs. Lucille Mooty of Silver Spring, Md. Mrs. Tabler was a guest last Thursday and Friday of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Tabler in Rocky Ridge, Md. Mrs. Ethel Tyner and Miss Nellie Atkins were Saturday afternoon visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Rodger Jones and Mitchell at “South Hill” near Woodville. Mrs. Ruth Perkins returned home last week after visiting Mr. and Mrs. H. S. O’Brien in McLean. Recent guests were Mr. and Mrs. Edward Simms of Hartsville, S.C., W. M. Wright of Spotsylvania and Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Wright of Fredericksburg.
Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Manuel of Browntown were Sunday afternoon visitors of Mr. and Mrs. B. M. Varner.
Mrs. Brown Miller, Mrs. Mary Quaintance joined by Mrs. W. W. Sanford of Orange and Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett of Washington attended funeral services last Tuesday for H. L. Miller in Luray.
Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Mayo, Will and John of Hampton were guests for several days of Mrs. W. H. Cordle.
Mrs. Ulrich Maeyer and family, formally of Reston are staying with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. Carroll Quaintance and will join Major Maeyer in Germany at a later date.
