aside amount is based on wheat plantings for harvest in 1978. The set-aside land must be devoted to approved vegetative cover crop such as annual or perennial grasses and legumes or small grain which is not allowed to mature.
2. The total acreage of corn, grain sorghum, wheat, barley, rye, oats, cotton, and soybeans plus the set-aside land cannot exceed the normal crop acreage established for the farm.
It is very important that every producer in Rappahannock County report all crops planted on your farm. This is necessary so that the normal crop acreage can be established for each reporting farm. Failure to report 1977 crop plantings will result in a producer being ineligible for program benefits.
