The State Department of Health’s goals are: to raise immunization levels above 90 per cent for children under 15 years of age by immunizing inadequate)! protected children against measles, polio, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, rubella and mumps; to insure that comprehensive immunization services will be easily available to 100 per cent of the children bom each year.

Dr. Miller said, “Parents need to do their part by checking their children’s immunization records and contacting their physician or local health department to receive immunizations. Childhood immunizations are available without charge at all local health departments.”
